In the field of microgravity physics, the Chinese space station will continue to conduct research on the microstructure and macroscopic performance control mechanisms of metals and alloys, grasp the nucleation mechanism and growth laws of space crystals, and guide the preparation of ground materials. Strengthen research on multiphase fluid flow and heat transfer applications, explore the scientific essence and laws of non-equilibrium systems, and promote the development of cutting-edge technologies such as intelligent manufacturing and special functional fluids. Revealing the essential laws of microgravity ignition, flame propagation, and extinguishing, promoting efficient and low-carbon combustion, improving power system performance, and providing support for the development of advanced power and efficient clean energy. In the fields of space astronomy and earth science, the Survey Space Telescope (CSST) is expected to achieve significant international results in fundamental cosmological questions such as the nature of dark energy and dark matter, galaxies and active galactic nuclei, and the Milky Way and neighboring galaxies. High energy cosmic radiation detection (HERD) and gamma ray polarimeter II (POLAR-2) are expected to make breakthroughs in important scientific frontiers such as dark matter search, cosmic ray origin, and extreme celestial evolution. In the field of new space technologies and applications, the Chinese space station will focus on meeting national strategic needs such as near Earth space, lunar space, future manned deep space exploration and in orbit services, and continue to carry out forward-looking space application projects and key technology verification experiments.
