He pointed out that the passenger load factor of the previously opened direct flights from Belgrade to Guangzhou reached 97% to 98%, and he believes that direct flights to Shanghai will also have such a high passenger load factor. Vucic said that in 2024, the trade volume between Serbia and China reached nearly 7 billion euros, and the number of Chinese tourists visiting Serbia was about 147000, which promoted the growth of Serbia's gross domestic product and increased the revenue of the hotel industry. Li Ming, the Chinese ambassador to Serbia, said in his speech that the opening of Serbian airlines to Shanghai will further expand exchanges and cooperation between Serbia and economically developed provinces and cities such as Shanghai and Zhejiang, further facilitate personnel exchanges between the two sides, and bring tangible benefits to the two peoples.
