On January 8th, the flag presentation ceremony of the Hong Kong delegation to the 9th Asian Winter Games (AWG) was held in Hong Kong. The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Rosamund Law, presented the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region flag to the delegation. The 9th Asian Winter Games will be held in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province from February 7th to 14th. The Hong Kong delegation, consisting of more than 100 people, will participate in the largest scale ever. They will compete in six major events and 11 minor events, and will also participate in the curling event of an international comprehensive sports meet for the first time. (New Society)
