On the evening of December 18, 2024, the Nanjing Baguazhou Yangtze River Bridge underwent its first fully enclosed "medical examination" since its opening. The Baguazhou Yangtze River Bridge was completed and opened to traffic on March 26, 2001. It is the second cross river bridge in the Nanjing section of the Yangtze River after the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, and is also an important component of the G36 Ningluo Expressway.
