The Guangzhou Zhanjiang High speed Railway is invested and constructed by Guangzhou Zhanjiang Railway Company, a subsidiary of Guangdong Railway Investment Group, and is under the general contracting of China Railway Design Group. The total length of the main line is about 401 kilometers, starting from Guangzhou Station and ending at Zhanjiang North Station. It is an important part of the national "Eight Verticals and Eight Horizontals" high-speed railway network and a 350 kilometer per hour coastal railway passenger transport corridor. Currently, it has entered the construction sprint stage. (New Society)
