On the 9th, it was learned from the Water Resources Science and Technology Work Conference held by the Ministry of Water Resources that since the 14th Five Year Plan, China has released more than 1400 achievements and technologies related to water resources science and technology. The development of water conservancy cannot be separated from the strong support of technology. The relevant person in charge of the International Cooperation and Technology Department of the Ministry of Water Resources introduced that since the 14th Five Year Plan, water conservancy science and technology work has focused on promoting the high-quality development needs of water conservancy, and has achieved significant results in major problem research, water conservancy standardization construction, and water conservancy science and technology innovation platform construction. In terms of major problem research, the Ministry of Water Resources has approved and implemented 105 key special projects of the national key research and development plan "Comprehensive Management of Water Resources and Water Environment in Key River Basins such as the Yangtze River and Yellow River". The Ministry of Water Resources, together with the National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Three Gorges Corporation, and State Power Investment Corporation, has successively established the Changjiang Water Science Research Joint Fund and the Yellow River Water Science Research Joint Fund, supporting 158 projects. The newly established major science and technology project plan of the Ministry of Water Resources has supported 243 major science and technology projects, effectively driving social investment of 1.7 billion yuan. In the construction of water conservancy standardization, accelerate the improvement of the water conservancy technology standard system for developing new quality productivity. Revise and issue a new version of the "Water Conservancy Technology Standard System Table", revise the "Management Measures for Water Conservancy Standardization Work", and accelerate the revision of the "Urgent Use First" standard system in key areas. In terms of the construction of water conservancy technology innovation platforms, up to now, 30 ministerial level key laboratories and 26 field scientific observation and research stations have been established or planned.
