On the evening of November 27th, the historical play "Stone Moon" by Yunnan Lantern Theatre was re performed in Kunming, Yunnan Province after 20 years. The drama mainly tells the story of the Qiao tribe of the Lisu ethnic group in the Nujiang Grand Canyon in northwest Yunnan at the end of the 19th century, who fled to a foreign land due to the failure of their rebellion against chieftains and the court. Later, under the leadership of their leader Hei Zai, they escorted Princess Sushapaya of Shan State back to her home country and fought bloody battles against the enemy. (New Society)
