On November 27th, the 12th National Traditional Ethnic Minority Sports Games' bamboo drifting competition was held in Sanya River. Duzhu Piao is a folk art originating from the Chishui River Basin in northern Guizhou. It was originally a water transportation tool for the local people and gradually developed into an entertainment and competition event for various ethnic groups in the area. Chishui Duzhu Float was included in the fifth batch of national intangible cultural heritage representative projects in 2021. (New Society)
