The exchange seminar on high-quality development of basic education between mainland China and Macau opened on the 25th in Macau. The theme of this conference is "Exploring the Path of Educational Practice under the Background of Artificial Intelligence Era", aiming to promote cultural integration and technological innovation between schools, and promote the high-quality development of basic education in mainland China and Macau. Cai Minzhi, Acting Deputy Director of the Education and Youth Development Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, stated that in the 25 years since its return to the motherland, with the support of the state, Macao has actively built opportunities for exchanges and cooperation in multiple fields and forms with the mainland, promoting high-quality development of education. In the future, Macao will continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the mainland, and cultivate outstanding talents for the new era. Chen Hong, President of the Macau Chinese Education Association, said that the Macau SAR government attaches great importance to science and technology education, and has injected new artificial intelligence into campuses through projects such as the "Smart Campus" service and the "Smart Teaching Pilot Program". I hope to use this conference as a link to bring education in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau closer together. In the thematic report section, education experts from mainland China and Macau jointly explored new paths for educational practice in the era of artificial intelligence from various aspects such as theory, practice, and application. In the afternoon of that day, more than a hundred education colleagues from mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao went to Haojiang Middle School to observe seven artificial intelligence education practice classes, including "Cross school Artificial Intelligence Creation Reading", "I am a spokesperson for Macau cuisine", and "License Plate Recognition in Autonomous Driving". It is reported that in 2020, Haojiang Middle School introduced iFlytek's artificial intelligence innovation education, and subsequently introduced iFlytek's smart sports and iFlytek's AI blackboard. The seminar is guided by the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau of the Macau SAR Government, jointly organized by the Macau Chinese Education Association and the Alliance of Universities Promoting the Application of Educational Informatization, and co organized by Macau Haojiang Middle School.
