Recently, the latest version of the Hubei Province Home Appliance Maintenance Trustworthy Network Map was warmly launched. The map covers the official maintenance points of multiple mainstream home appliance brands in Hubei, which is expected to solve the problem of local residents often unable to find and distinguish official home appliance maintenance networks. In recent years, the phenomenon of "repair assassins" in household appliances has attracted much attention, and "repair assassins" often use the internet as a marketing channel. Many of them will use the official repair points of a certain brand of household appliances to attract customers. Once repair personnel come to provide on-site services, consumers will encounter tricks such as minor repairs and exorbitant prices. It is even possible that some repair personnel intentionally damage household appliances and then charge for repairs. For consumers, the probability of replacing large household appliances such as televisions, washing machines, and refrigerators with small problems is relatively low, and most still need to be repaired to solve the problem. Therefore, finding a home appliance repair point that operates with integrity, charges reasonably, and provides excellent service as soon as possible is a necessity for people's daily lives. The Home Appliance and Network Information Product Service Association of Hubei Province and the media jointly launched a map of reliable home appliance maintenance outlets, which is an exploration to solve this problem. Home appliance maintenance may seem like a trivial matter, but it is actually a major livelihood issue that concerns the immediate interests of the people. Moreover, if the cost of home appliance maintenance is high and there are too many tricks encountered during the maintenance process, it will ultimately lead to many people having to give up maintenance, which is also a huge waste of resources. The official version of the home appliance repair and maintenance network map not only makes the repair and maintenance of home appliances more convenient and reassuring, but also reduces the worries for consumers when purchasing and using home appliances. In this sense, it has indirectly promoted home appliance consumption and prospered the home appliance market. The launch of a reliable network map for home appliance maintenance is a "small incision, big livelihood" initiative. We hope that more places can take the initiative and use practical measures to "increase convenience" at the doorstep of the people. At the same time, it should be reminded that the construction of official maintenance outlets is not a one-time solution. In the future, supervision and assessment of the outlets should be strengthened from the perspectives of maintenance quality, service level, and whether they operate with integrity, and dynamic management should be carried out. For maintenance outlets that have been repeatedly complained about, corresponding reminders and punishments should be given, and a scientific exit mechanism should be established to ensure their honest operation and meet the personalized needs of consumers.
