In recent days, many party committees and organs of military level and above units have conducted ideological analysis around the concept of the masses, guiding team members and leading cadres to draw a clear line between respecting and relying on officers and soldiers and breaking away from or even tormenting them. Believing in, respecting, and relying on officers and soldiers has always been an important tool for our army to move from victory to victory. The people's army cannot do without the people, leading cadres cannot do without ordinary officers and soldiers, and senior organs cannot do without grassroots troops. Nowadays, some leading cadres are ambiguous about the situation at the grassroots level, and one important reason is that they are detached from the masses and emotionally distant from the grassroots in their work. Some soldiers are unaware of the soldiers and even become 'familiar strangers' to each other; Some people always feel that they are smarter than officers and soldiers, and in their work, they focus more on management than on education, and more on blocking than on slacking off; Some people do not care enough about the well-being of their officers and soldiers, only seeking satisfaction from their superiors without considering their feelings; Some people also put on official positions and use official language, mistakenly believing that the farther away they are from the officers and soldiers, the more official they look like, and the bigger the position, the more authoritative they are. Such detachment from the grassroots and officers and soldiers will not only affect the morale and internal relationships of the military, but also cause damage to the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the troops. Correct the tendency of weakened public awareness and estrangement between officers and soldiers. If there is love, the morale of the army will gather; if there is no love, the morale will scatter. Leaders and cadres should always be vigilant about the 'biggest danger' of 'detachment from the masses', and adhere to viewing officers and soldiers with a trusting, appreciative, and developmental perspective. Comrade Chen Gong once said, "Managing soldiers is not cold and indifferent. This will not bring out soldiers who are willing to block bullets for you. We attach great importance to the close relationship between officers and soldiers, as well as the relationship between soldiers, and cultivate a revolutionary friendship of sharing joys and sorrows and life and death together. Only by consolidating and developing internal relationships of unity, friendship, harmony, and purity can we gather and form a fighting force of "life and death dependence, solidarity" in the new journey of striving for a strong military. Correct the tendency of diminishing service awareness and ignoring the needs of officers and soldiers. At present, the task of military training and preparation is heavy, and grassroots officers and soldiers are facing increasing pressure, challenges, and contradictions from training, work, life, and other aspects, many of which are difficult to solve on their own. Party committees and organs at all levels should establish a clear orientation of focusing on grassroots work, truly placing the focus of work at the grassroots level, putting themselves in the shoes of officers and soldiers, actively doing practical things, solving problems, and doing good things for officers and soldiers, ensuring that organizational follow-up, policy application, and measures are in place, and effectively solving the problems that constrain and affect the combat effectiveness of officers and soldiers, such as their worries, concerns, and troubles. Correct the deviation of guiding ideology and the tendency to harass grassroots officers and soldiers. Adhere to the principle of asking about politics in the military, planning in the military, and needs in the military, rectify the "command style, monopoly style, and movement style" approach to construction, effectively respect the power of grassroots work arrangement, personnel use, and property control, and improve the ability of grassroots self construction. Adhere to the rule of law in governing the military, follow the guidelines for construction, adhere to a systematic and comprehensive approach, address both the symptoms and the root causes, with both strength and warmth, and emphasize both principles and art. Resolutely eliminate the accumulated problems of formalism that increase the burden on grassroots, promote the deepening and implementation of reducing the burden on grassroots, and create a united, tense, serious, and lively environment for grassroots.
