2024-11-11

On November 10th, the current Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth (left) cast his vote at a polling station in Wakoa, Mauritius. Mauritius, an Indian Ocean island nation, held its National Assembly elections on the 10th. More than one million registered voters are expected to go to 340 polling stations across the country on the same day to elect new members of the National Assembly. It is understood that the "People's Alliance" led by current Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth and the "Alliance for Change" led by former Prime Minister Nawnchandra Ramgoolam have stronger competitiveness.
