At the remote control center of Qinzhou Port Area in Beibu Gulf Port, Guangxi, staff use remote control equipment to carry out container lifting operations at the dock. In recent years, based on its unique geographical advantages such as coastal and border areas, Guangxi has accelerated the construction of a new western land sea corridor with Beibu Gulf Port as the outlet, linking railways and maritime transportation, and connecting the mainland with multiple ASEAN countries. According to statistics, from January to September this year, the rail sea intermodal trains of the Western Land Sea New Channel have sent a total of 642000 TEUs of container goods, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%. The categories of goods transportation have increased to over 1163, covering 156 stations in 73 cities across 18 provinces (regions, municipalities) in China, and reaching 542 ports in 125 countries and regions worldwide.
