On October 15th, 2024, the Tour of Guangxi Road Cycling World Tour (hereinafter referred to as the Tour of Guangxi) began in Fangchenggang City. In the Fangchenggang City stage, Lionel Taminio from the Lotto Desni team won the stage championship by a narrow margin. The 2024 Guangxi Tour consists of six stages, namely the Fangchenggang City stage, Chongzuo Jingxi stage, Jingxi Bama stage, Bama Jinchengjiang stage, Yizhou Nongla Scenic Area stage, and Nanning City stage. The track forms include flat road loops, mountain and hill loops, and final climbing, with a total competition distance of approximately 1021 kilometers. (New Society)
