The 23rd China Vietnam Youth Friendship Meeting with the theme of "Continuing Traditional Friendship, Joining Hands to Create the Future" opened on the 14th in Nanning, Guangxi. About 200 youth representatives from various sectors, including China and Vietnam, participated. At the opening ceremony, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, and also released a list of youth exchange projects for the 2025 "China Vietnam Cultural Exchange Year". Local youth organizations in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangxi, Yunnan and other places will jointly carry out more than 20 youth exchange and development projects with youth organizations in various parts of Vietnam. The China Vietnam Youth Friendship Meeting is a brand project for youth exchange between China and Vietnam. During the event, young people from both China and Vietnam will visit communities, schools, enterprises, industrial parks, museums, and other places in Nanning, Liuzhou, and Chongzuo, Guangxi. They will engage in special discussions, visits, exchanges, cultural experiences, and other activities around themes such as innovation and entrepreneurship, volunteer services, and rural revitalization, in order to build a strategic China Vietnam community with a shared future and promote youth consensus and action.
