In response to the National Cybersecurity Awareness Week, the "2024 Cybersecurity Awareness Campaign" organized by the Digital Policy Office of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government was officially launched on the 7th. This promotional campaign kicked off with the "2024 Cybersecurity Awareness Week Fun Day". The Fun Day is jointly organized by the Digital Office, Hong Kong Police Force, and Hong Kong Cybersecurity Incident Coordination Centre, with the theme of "City wide Network Security in Hand". Through exhibitions, interactive games, and seminars, it disseminates network security knowledge and information to the public. In addition to the Fun Day activities, the Digital Office will hold a series of events from September to December, including a Hong Kong cybersecurity industry delegation led by the Digital Office to participate in forums related to the National Cybersecurity Awareness Week and the Cybersecurity Expo in Nansha, Guangzhou, to deepen exchanges and cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong in the field of cybersecurity. In addition, the Digital Office will lead the first real-life network attack and defense exercise in Hong Kong in November, simulating real network attacks to build defenses.
