At noon on September 1st, over a thousand fishing boats set sail from Shidao Fishing Port in Rongcheng City, Shandong Province, carrying the hopes of fishermen and embarking on autumn fishing. After four months of fishing bans in the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea in 2024, fishermen have entered the season of open sea fishing. (New Society)
