Revisiting the Ancient Land of "Two Bombs and One Satellite" - China Atomic City Remembers the Past and Turbulent Years

On August 29th, guests who participated in the "Two Bombs and One Satellite" spirit symposium walked into Haiyan County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, and took photos in front of the Hongqi-2 surface to air missile model of the Air Force's Independent 12th Battalion. Haiyan County is China's first nuclear weapons research and development base, which gave birth to China's first atomic bomb and first hydrogen bomb, and is known as the China Atomic City. The home event celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and promoting the spirit of "Two Bombs and One Satellite" will be held in Qinghai Province from August 28th to 29th.
