On August 18th, the Jiaolong completed its dive and emerged from the western Pacific Ocean. On August 18, 2024, the Western Pacific International Expedition Scientific Research Team successfully completed the first dive of the "Jiaolong" voyage in the Western Pacific waters. This is also the 300th dive of China's independently designed and integrated first 7000 meter deep manned submersible, the "Jiaolong". After going through stages such as sea trials, experimental applications, and commercial operations, the Jiaolong has left footprints in the Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Atlantic Ocean. (New Society)
