On August 7th, a police officer on duty was directing vehicles to pass in an orderly and rapid manner. On that day, after continuous rescue efforts by multiple forces, the 318 National Highway, which was blocked by flash floods and mudslides, was reopened in Ridi Village, Guzan Town, Kangding City, Garze Prefecture, Sichuan Province. On the early morning of August 3rd, a major flash flood and mudslide occurred in Ridi Village, causing the interruption of two main roads, National Highway 318 and Yakang Expressway, entering and exiting Ganzi Prefecture.
