On August 5th, multiple media outlets in the United States cited a statement jointly issued by the Li Zhengdao Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the China Center for Advanced Science and Technology, stating that the renowned Chinese physicist and Nobel laureate in Physics, Li Zhengdao, passed away at his home in San Francisco at 2:33 am local time on the 4th, at the age of 97.
