The first International Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation Center held its unveiling ceremony on the 4th in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Chinese medicine team members from the aid to Nepal medical team and Nepalese doctors from the Department of Physiotherapy at the Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital in Perbadpur, Nepal jointly provide diagnosis and treatment services at the center. It is understood that the International Diagnosis and Treatment Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation is divided into nerve rehabilitation area, bone injury rehabilitation area and pain treatment area, providing a series of traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation treatment methods, including acupuncture and moxibustion, massage, scraping, cupping, Chinese medicine, and also equipped with intermediate frequency pulse treatment, low-frequency pulse treatment, traditional Chinese medicine implantation treatment, infrared treatment, and rehabilitation training with professional rehabilitation equipment. In his speech at the unveiling ceremony, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song reviewed the popularity of acupuncture and moxibustion therapy among the Nepalese people and pointed out that over the past 25 years, China has sent more than 250 aid doctors to Koirala Memorial Tumor Hospital. Bijai Rai Naoupane, Chairman of the Management Committee of Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital, expressed gratitude to China for the assistance provided over the years, including manpower and medical equipment, drug assistance, and physician training. The Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital was built with assistance from China. Since its transfer to Nepal in December 1998, China has been rotating and dispatching medical teams to the hospital. It is reported that the Traditional Chinese Medicine department of the hospital has been recognized by local residents, and patients with hemiplegia, facial paralysis, neck, shoulder, waist, and leg pain will go to seek medical treatment.
