On July 31st, the first roadshow of the 2024 China (Guangzhou) Cross border E-commerce Fair (hereinafter referred to as the "Cross border Fair") was held in Shenzhen. It is reported that this year's Cross Expo will be held from August 16th to 18th in Zone A of the Canton Fair Exhibition Hall, with the largest scale in history. It is currently the exhibition with the largest number of participating platforms, the most concentrated top platforms, and the largest investment in participation among similar exhibitions in China. Cross border Fair was founded in September 2021 by the organizer of the Canton Fair, China Foreign Trade Center Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Foreign Trade Center, and other units. The guiding units are Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce and Guangzhou Municipal People's Government. The total exhibition area of this cross trade fair is more than 40000 square meters, with four exhibition areas, namely, the exhibition area of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive test area, the exhibition area of cross-border e-commerce platforms and service providers, the exhibition area of cross-border e-commerce overseas warehouse and logistics, and the exhibition area of cross-border e-commerce supply chain. More than 1000 high-quality cross-border e-commerce supply chain enterprises from more than 20 provinces and cities, nearly 40 platforms, including Amazon Global Store, Histone, Pinduoduo temu, Tiktok TikTok, Alibaba International Station, AliExpress, and China Manufacturing Network, will participate in the exhibition. Over 30 industry forums and online live broadcast activities will also be held in the same period. It is reported that this cross-border trade fair will launch a series of activities in Guangdong Province to empower the development of cross-border e-commerce industries, and release innovative cases of "cross-border e-commerce empowering industry development". The exhibition will set up an emerging market platform exhibition area for the first time, featuring Amazon SHEIN、TikTok shop、 Alibaba International Station and other large platform ecological zones have set up cross-border e-commerce overseas warehouses and logistics exhibition areas for the first time, promoting the connection between cross-border e-commerce sellers and overseas warehouses, and driving more enterprises to "go global".
