On July 17th, workers in the production workshop of Fujian Junpeng Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. located in Fuzhou New Area were rushing to produce structural components for new energy vehicle power batteries. In recent years, as the 14th national level new area in China and the only one in Fujian Province, Fuzhou New Area has accelerated the construction of an important modern industrial base along the southeast coast, focusing on industries such as digital economy, new materials, and new energy. It occupies 6.6% of the land in Fuzhou City and has achieved 24% of the city's regional GDP. In 2023, the total economic output of Fuzhou New Area will reach 312.7 billion yuan, ranking eighth among national level new areas. (New Society)
