On July 17th, the first day of the Hong Kong Book Fair held a book launch event and publishing symposium.
The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Li Jiachao, officials in charge of the Liaison Office of the Central Government in Hong Kong, representatives of Hong Kong patriotic organizations, political groups, and the publishing industry attended the book launch conference and publishing symposium. Officials from the Hong Kong Association for the Promotion of Friendship, the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association, the Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers, and other relevant organizations received donated books at the book launch event. The traditional Chinese versions of the three books will be fully available and heavily promoted in major bookstores in Hong Kong and Macau starting today.
