On the evening of July 3rd, the 21st Taiwan Youth Thousand Person Summer Camp, hosted by the All China Taiwan Federation, opened in Fuzhou, Fujian. This summer camp covers 29 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government in mainland China. About 1500 young Taiwanese compatriots from both sides of the Taiwan Strait and overseas will use their footsteps to measure various places, appreciate historical and cultural customs, and experience economic and technological development. At the opening ceremony, young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait joined hands to showcase their talents such as traditional Chinese music ensemble, string puppet calligraphy performance, dance and song ensemble.
