On June 20th, there were ten self-service car washing machines and one fully automatic car washing machine at the "Xi'an Recycled Water" utilization demonstration site on the north section of Zhuhong Road in Weiyang District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. A self-service car wash machine consumes approximately 20 liters of water to clean a car, costing 10 yuan. Municipal civilian "recycled water" self-service car washing is environmentally friendly and affordable. It is reported that six demonstration points for comprehensive utilization of recycled water in Xi'an serve over 100000 vehicles annually. (Lai Xin She)
