In order to promote the development of sports in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and better showcase the spirit of Chinese sports to the world, on May 29th, Dong Liangtian, former director of the Guangdong Provincial Sports Bureau and chairman of the Guangdong Wanli Celebrity Football Club, visited and exchanged views with the "Outlook New Era" magazine (referred to as "Lai Xin She"), and was warmly welcomed by the president of the new society, Wang Junzheng, and others. Chairman Dong Liangtian has been deeply involved in the sports industry for many years and has made indelible contributions to the vigorous development of China's sports industry. He entered the sports world in 1964 and was one of the first players to join the Guangdong Workers Football Team; From 1973 to 1994, he successively served as the Deputy Director of the Guangdong Provincial Sports Commission, Chairman of the Football Association, Director of the Sports Commission, and Secretary of the Party Group of the Sports Commission; After 2000, he served as the Director and Party Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Sports Bureau; In 2003, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress and Deputy Director of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Commission; During this period, he also served as the Vice Chairman of the Chinese Football, Athletics, Swimming, Yachting, Golf, and Sports Dance Association. He has been repeatedly commended by the Guangdong Provincial Government for his contributions to the sports industry. The Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Government have awarded him first class collective and individual merit, and he has also been awarded the National Sports Honor Medal by the General Administration of Sport of China. Today, Chairman Dong Liangtian is still active in the sports industry and has founded Guangdong Wanli Celebrity Football Club, continuing to shine for Chinese sports. Chairman Dong Liangtian stated that next year, the 15th National Games will be jointly hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. This will serve as an opportunity for all sectors of society to lead a new trend of national fitness, promote the spirit of Chinese sports, and promote the construction of a healthy China. As an important platform for cultural exchange and mutual learning, Lixin Society plays an indelible role in guiding more people to pay attention to and engage in sports, and creating a healthy and upward public opinion atmosphere for national fitness through its attention to national sports, excavation and dissemination of Chinese sports stories.
