On the morning of May 26, 2024, the "Liyang 358" scientific research vessel successfully arrived in Sanya, Hainan and was released into the deep sea. With the joint assistance of the accompanying technicians and volunteers, the "Haitang" was safely released from the stern deck. After entering the sea, the well restored "Haitang" autonomously dives and swims back to the sea, marking the successful end of China's first successful rescue of stranded short legged pilot whales in the wild release animation.
