The Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and relevant officials from the Cultural, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government recently signed a tourism cooperation agreement in Hong Kong. Cultural and tourism enterprises in Guangxi and Hong Kong have reached multiple cooperation intentions, and the two sides will continue to expand cooperation in the tourism field. At the "2024 Guangxi Hong Kong Tour" event held on the 22nd, which aims to promote high-quality development and share strategic opportunities in the Greater Bay Area, the two sides signed a tourism cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, both parties will carry out cooperation in the tourism field from multiple aspects such as promoting tourism product cooperation, strengthening tourism promotion, and optimizing information exchange mechanisms. Both sides will further integrate the rich tourism resources of the two regions, plan and design more boutique tourism products and routes. The cultural and tourism exchanges between Guangxi and Hong Kong have a long history, and the two places are important tourist destinations and tourist sources for each other. The 2024 Guangxi Hong Kong Tourism Special Matchmaking Seminar, held on the same day, is one of the supporting activities of "Joining Hands for the High Quality Development and Sharing of Strategic Hinterland Construction Opportunities in the Greater Bay Area -2024 Guangxi Hong Kong Tour". The aim is to enhance in-depth exchanges in the cultural and tourism fields of Guangxi Hong Kong, promote practical cooperation among cultural and tourism enterprises in Guangxi Hong Kong, promote Guangxi's cultural and tourism resources to Hong Kong and overseas, vigorously promote the development of Hong Kong funded enterprises in Guangxi, and attract Hong Kong tourists to Guangxi for tourism. At the meeting, Gan Lin, Secretary of the Party Group of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, expressed the hope that the attending entrepreneurs in Guigang will strengthen exchanges and cooperation, accelerate the promotion of passenger source exchange, deepen regional cooperation, strengthen cultural exchanges, and enhance friendly relations between the two sides.
