"There is a faint life signal inside the collapsed building ahead, and two rescue teams quickly stepped forward to rescue!" Recently, an earthquake rescue drill and technical exchange activity was held at a training ground of a certain regiment in the Xinjiang Military Region. The Northwest Earthquake Disaster Emergency Rescue Team, mainly composed of the regiment, and the China Rescue Xinjiang Mobile Professional Support Team gathered together to engage in technical competition and business exchange. "This drill adopts a combination of scenario simulation and real response, centralized display and multi-point presentation, and planned control and random guidance." The leader of the drill command team told the author that they have set up 18 items in 4 categories, including individual skills and team collaboration, from the aspects of emergency response, emergency deployment, mobile delivery, search and rescue, etc. This drill is conducted against the backdrop of an earthquake disaster in a certain area. The search team is urgently dispatched to carry out personnel search and rescue and road clearance tasks. They need to continuously respond to unexpected situations and complete the task within the golden time of earthquake rescue. At the drill site, the author saw that with the command of the command and control team, the search team analyzed the disaster situation and determined the location of the "trapped personnel". The heavy object removal group and the breaking and cutting group removed large pieces of building debris, and the lifting support group supported the tilted floor of the collapsed building... The commander calmly commanded, and the various groups cooperated to handle the situation. Finally, they worked together to rescue the "trapped personnel" and successfully completed the task. After the drill, the team reviewed and summarized the drill process, formed an inspection and evaluation report, and supplemented the earthquake rescue database. (Lai Xin She)
