The "Southern Writers Handicraft Exhibition - Entering the Time Scroll of Literature", organized by the Hong Kong Literature Museum, the Hong Kong Writers Association, and the China Modern Literature Museum, has recently opened at the Central Library of Hong Kong. More than 300 exhibits are exhibited, including the manuscripts and items of 24 writers who migrated from mainland China to Hong Kong, including Xu Dishan, Xiao Hong, and Jin Yong. More than 200 of them are original copies. The exhibition also showcases character sculptures to promote the cross-border integration of literary research and visual art. In his opening speech, Pan Yaoming, the director of the Hong Kong Literature Museum, stated that through this exhibition, audiences can not only appreciate the handwriting and relics of Southern writers, but also feel their creative inspiration and creative journey. Here is a record of their hard work in creation, which not only represents the creative spirit of writers from the South, but also reflects their special contribution to the literary community in Hong Kong. Chen Yuning is one of the tour guides for this exhibition. As a first-year student at Qiu Jinqiu Middle School (Tuen Mun) in Hong Kong, she told reporters that through this exhibition, she learned a lot about the stories behind Southern writers and developed a strong interest in their literary works. She plans to go back and read them carefully. This exhibition will continue until May 20th. The organizer introduced that the exhibition aims to showcase the creative trajectory of Southern writers in Hong Kong, highlighting their works' profound impact on the inheritance of Chinese culture and Hong Kong literature.
