Recently, reporters attempted to climb the snowy Gangshika Snow Peak in Menyuan Hui Autonomous County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. The Gangshika Snow Peak covers an area of approximately 450 square kilometers, also known as the "Cold Dragon Ridge". It is one of the main peaks of the Qilian Mountains, with an altitude between 4000 and 5000 meters. There are many modern glaciers above 4500 meters, with a total glacier area of about 80 square kilometers. (Lai Xin She)
