On April 20-21, the first seminar of the 2024 China Digital Economy Industry Chain Series, titled "Tsinghua · Daxing Digital Innovation", was successfully held in Daxing, Beijing. The seminar was co sponsored by the Global Securities Market Research Institute of Tsinghua University and the Management Committee of Beijing Daxing Economic Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as "Daxing Economic Development Zone"). More than 150 guests, including relevant leaders of national ministries and commissions, Liao Xiangke, an academician of the CAE Member, a professor of the School of Computer Science and Technology of the University of National Defense, Yang Zhishu, a professor of the Department of Finance of the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University, and heads of Fortune Global 500 enterprises and leading enterprises in the digital economy, attended the seminar. Liu Xueliang, Deputy Secretary and District Mayor of Daxing District, and Zhou Chong, Deputy District Mayor, and other leaders attended. Focusing on the collaboration of the digital industry chain and leading enterprises, this seminar aims to build a first-class cooperation and exchange service platform for the digital economy industry in Daxing District, relying on Tsinghua alumni resources and top enterprise ecosystem resources. Attracting 35 listed companies, 70 specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises, and more than 100 core digital economy enterprises, including world-class companies such as Huawei, Microsoft, and JD.com, as well as listed companies such as ZTE, Hengwei Technology, Jinxinnuo, and Huaru. The total market value of the participating listed companies exceeded 400 billion yuan, and there are also many quasi listed companies with valuations exceeding 10 billion yuan. Projects from enterprises outside Beijing account for 70%, and their business covers new generation software, data services, AI, big models, big computing power, and other digital economy tracks. Focusing on the core of the digital economy value chain, enterprise chain, supply chain and other industrial chains, from the dimensions of technology, market, capital, policy, etc., leading enterprises, leading enterprises, and high growth enterprises from various regions and industries across the country jointly explore key issues in the fields of technological development synergy and industrial chain integration development. Many consensus has been reached on building innovation consortia, industrial chain development alliances, political industry academia research funding cooperation and other multilateral and bilateral cooperation. The seminar, led by academicians from the 7 major competitions in the digital economy, focuses on promoting the development of multiple entities in seven major digital economy fields, including cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence. Four themed reports were set up, including China's digital economy industry policy, industry value chain research, and case studies of digital industry enterprises. In depth discussions were conducted on the application of digital emerging technologies, industrial chain optimization and upgrading, cross-border integration and innovation, and other topics, actively providing suggestions for regional development of the digital economy. The relevant leaders of the ministries and commissions have proposed to further accelerate the improvement of industrial scientific and technological innovation capabilities, vigorously develop core industries of the digital economy, deepen the digitization, networking, and intelligence of manufacturing, promote the empowerment and application of artificial intelligence, build a group of high-level industrial park clusters, cultivate and strengthen a group of high-quality enterprises, accelerate the formation of an integrated development ecosystem, and jointly enhance the international influence and competitiveness of the digital economy. Academician Liao Xiangke shared the high-quality development of the software industry in the intelligent era, and pointed out that the integration of "IT Internet thinking" and "manufacturing craftsmanship spirit" should be used to accelerate the integration of information technology and manufacturing industry, build an industrial technology system with high-end manufacturing, data and software as the core, and integrate advanced computing technology, platform software, interdisciplinary talent team and data model
