On April 9, 2024, the construction of the Xishamen Bridge project on Taizhou No.1 Highway is being accelerated at Dua'ao Beach in Ganjiang Town, Yuhuan City, Zhejiang Province. The Yuhuan section of Taizhou No. 1 Highway passes through 9 towns and villages, with the main line of about 75 kilometers long. It is designed according to the standard of first-class highway, and will help the local build a new island tourism destination in the Yangtze River Delta and an important coastal leisure resort in southeast Zhejiang.
