On February 3, 2024, the main venue of the National Spring Festival "Village Evening" event was held in Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Province, China. This event is one of the key projects of the Spring Festival theme "Celebrating the Chinese New Year with Joy" hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, with the theme of "100 Family Banquets in Dongzhai, Celebrating the Chinese New Year". On that day, during the Southern Chinese New Year, the people of Sanjiang Dong Township were busy pounding glutinous rice cakes, making oil tea, and frying oil fruits. They gathered on the Wind and Rain Bridge, Gulou Ping, and stage, performing self written and self directed cultural programs. Tourists from all over the country can freely visit Chengyang Bazhai, participate in the Spring Festival "Village Evening" and folk activities, and experience the colorful ethnic customs of Guangxi.
