NASA captured two galaxies resembling penguins and eggs

Recently, NASA shared a unique set of galaxy images, showcasing a pair of beautiful and cute galaxies - the Arp 142 galaxy pair resembling penguins and eggs. This pair of galaxies was captured by the Hubble Space Telescope and the Spitzer Space Telescope, and they are approximately 23 million light-years away from Earth, which is about 10 times the distance of our nearest famous barred spiral galaxy, the Andromeda Galaxy. NASA pointed out that these two galaxies are in a process of gravitational interaction, and over time, they will get closer and eventually merge into one. (Lai Xin She)
