From December 26th to 27th, the National Land Survey and Planning Institute's Survey and Monitoring Business Exchange Conference was held in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, hosted by the China National Land Survey and Planning Institute. The theme was "Empowering Digital Intelligence and Supporting the High Quality Development of Natural Resources Survey and Monitoring". The attendees focused on important business areas such as natural resource investigation, monitoring, and evaluation in the new era, focusing on digital empowerment, technological innovation, and co construction and sharing. They conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges, gathered wisdom and strength to plan digital transformation. At the meeting, the instructions of Zhuang Shaoqin, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, were read out, and Yang Tongguang, Deputy Governor of Guizhou Province, delivered a speech. The meeting pointed out that in the new era, efforts should be made to actively promote the digital transformation of national spatial governance, innovate the natural resource survey and monitoring system, and connect the path of resource asset transformation. Efforts should be made to promote the transformation and application of digital survey and monitoring results, and make greater contributions to promoting the construction of digital ecological civilization and supporting high-quality development of national spatial resources. Currently, China has entered a new stage of integrated development of digital economy and real economy, as well as digital security development. Based on this, the keynote report of the exchange meeting is combined with the construction of a beautiful digital governance system in China, gathering wisdom and strength to build a green and intelligent digital ecological civilization. Guo Huadong, an academician of the CAS Member, and three other experts made keynote reports on promoting sustainable development by big data, exploring and practicing the value of data elements in Guizhou, and deepening the digital transformation of survey, monitoring and evaluation. The attending experts interpreted the development plan for the next three years of the "Land Survey Cloud" construction and the technical regulations for provincial land spatial planning, focusing on doing a good job in cadastral survey work in the new era, the development and transformation of farmland protection policies, the methods and applications of natural resource asset inventory technology based on land survey, and the innovation of monitoring, evaluation, and early warning technology for land spatial security bottom line Business exchanges were conducted on the progress and prospects of the construction of the Land Science Data Center. At the meeting, a ceremony was held for the awarding and website launch of the Land Science Data Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources. The "Land Survey Cloud" 4.0 was released and 22 provincial-level sub centers of the "Land Survey Cloud" were awarded licenses.
