On December 6th, the carbon neutrality press conferences for the Hangzhou Asian Games and Asian Paralympics were held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. At the meeting, it was announced that through third-party authoritative institutions accounting and evaluation certification, the Hangzhou Asian Games and Asian Paralympics emitted a total of 882900 tons of greenhouse gases, used green electricity to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 22000 tons, and received social donations to offset carbon emissions by 1.099 million tons, achieving carbon neutrality for the first time in the history of the Asian Games.
