China's first high-speed railway crossing the sea at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour has officially opened and put into operation

At 9:15 am on September 28th, the first intelligent multiple unit train G9801 of the Fuxing high-speed railway slowly departed from Fuzhou South Station and headed south towards Xiamen North Station. This marks the official opening and operation of China's first cross sea high-speed railway, the Fuzhou Xiamen high-speed railway, with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The Fuzhou Xiamen high-speed railway starts from Fuzhou in the north, passes through Putian and Quanzhou, and ends in Xiamen and Zhangzhou in the south, with a total length of 277 kilometers. After opening, the running time of trains from Fuzhou to Xiamen will be shortened from about 2 hours to less than 1 hour, forming a "one hour living circle" between the two places. (New News Agency)
