On September 27th, the northernmost high-speed railway station under construction in China, Yichun West Station, was officially capped. The Tieli Yichun section of Harbin-Yichun High-speed Railway is located in the middle of Heilongjiang Province. The line starts from Tieli City and ends at Yichun City. The main line is 111.4 kilometers long and the design speed is 250 kilometers per hour. There are three passenger stations on the entire line, namely Tieli, Riyue Gorge, and Yichun West. Among them, the Yichun West Station has a total construction area of 19985 square meters and can accommodate 1500 passengers waiting for the train at the same time. Harbin-Yichun High-speed Railway is a high-speed railway that pays equal attention to the functions of road network and intercity, and also takes into account tourism. After the whole line is completed and opened to traffic, it will strengthen the economic ties between the northern border areas of Heilongjiang Province and the inland developed areas, accelerate the integrated development of Harbin Great Wall City Group, and promote the revitalization of the old industrial base in northeast China.
