On March 29, on the Quanzhou Bay estuary wetland in Jinjiang, Fujian Province, mangroves stand tall and grow on the beach. It is understood that the Quanzhou City "Blue Bay" Comprehensive Renovation Action Project (Quanzhou Bay Sea Area), which was established in July 2020, is the largest marine ecological protection and restoration project in the region. It has been fully completed, with 5026 mu of Spartina alterniflora cleared, 2912 mu of mangrove planted and restored, 374 mu of bird habitat restored, 2 bird observation and monitoring stations built, and 6.2 km of coastal ecological transformation. Nowadays, the beaches are covered with mangroves, egrets fly, and the ecological restoration effect is gradually emerging. (Outlook New Era Network)
