The Information Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region reported on the 3rd that Li Jiachao, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, would go to Beijing on the afternoon of March 4 and attend the opening meeting of the first session of the 14th National People's Congress on the following day. Li Jiachao returned to Hong Kong on the 6th. During his departure from Hong Kong, Chen Guoji, the Secretary for Administration of the SAR Government, acted as the Chief Executive.
