On the 29th, the East China Regional Administration of Civil Aviation issued the production license of the domestic large aircraft C919 to COMAC. This is an important milestone from the design and development stage to the mass production stage of the C919 aircraft, marking a solid step towards the industrialization of China's large passenger aircraft. The production license review team for C919 aircraft is set up by the East China Regional Administration of Civil Aviation, with a total of 15 people. The review team carried out the quality system document review and on-site review in accordance with the airworthiness regulations Regulations on Certification of Civil Aviation Products and Parts (CCAR-21-R4) and airworthiness management procedures Production Approval and Supervision Procedures (AP-21-AA-2019-31). The work of obtaining and approving evidence took 3 years and 8 months. During the validation process, we have accumulated experience in the quality control of civil aircraft products, which provides a best practice reference for the improvement of airworthiness regulations and procedures. The first C919 aircraft is expected to be delivered to China Eastern Airlines in December this year. The East China Regional Administration of Civil Aviation will continue to supervise the production of C919 aircraft and promote the high-quality development of domestic civil aircraft industry.
