After three days of fierce competition, eight Chinese athletes fought bravely and won 6 gold medals and 1 bronze medal in all 7 events. Among them, Wu Yuanzhou, a senior technical school of China Construction Fifth Engineering Bureau, won the gold medal of the masonry project, achieving the third consecutive gold medal of the project. Zhu Ke of Shanghai Second University of Technology, Jiang Xinhua of Ningbo Technical College and Jiang Yuhe of Henan Technical College of Chemical Engineering won the gold medals of freight forwarding project, heavy vehicle maintenance project and chemical laboratory technology project respectively, which is the first time that the three projects achieved a breakthrough of "zero" gold medal. Yu Shou'an of Jiangsu Yancheng Technical College won the gold medal of the electrical installation project, which is the second time that the project won the gold medal in the 45th World Skills Competition. Jiang Hao of Tieling Technical College won the gold medal of the industrial control project, which means that the project won the gold medal five years after the 44th World Skills Competition. In addition, Zhang Yangguang and Liu Jinhao of Zhengzhou Commercial Technician College won bronze medals for concrete construction projects. The Austria competition area is the last competition of the 2022 World Skills Competition, so far all 62 special events have been completed. The Chinese delegation won 21 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 4 bronze medals and 5 winning prizes in 34 events, ranking first in the gold medal list. At the same time, the number of gold medals exceeded the historical best results of all 56 events in the 45th World Skills Competition.
