On November 10, the State Administration of Cultural Relics held a meeting in Beijing on the important progress of the "Archaeological China" major project, which gave a special report on the important achievements and new progress in the research of Yin Ruins and oracle bone inscriptions in Anyang, Henan. According to reports, the recent archaeological work systematically revealed the production mode of handicraft industry of casting copper, bone making and pottery making in Huanbei, and the layout mode of "integration of residence and burial". The press conference announced the new discovery of large pools, waterways and related architectural relics in the palace ancestral temple area of the Yin Ruins, and introduced many new discoveries in the peripheral areas of the Yin Ruins, including the Xindian copper casting site, the Taojiaying Huanhao settlement site in the middle Shang Dynasty, and the Shaojiapeng settlement site in the late Shang Dynasty.
