On April 18, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said at a regular press conference that at present, we are organizing the implementation of the first batch of international cooperation projects of the Chinese space station in cooperation with the United Nations Department of foreign space, and it is expected to carry out experimental research as soon as the end of this year. In this regard, Simonetta dipiper, director of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, said that China's open space station is an important part of the United Nations "global shared space" initiative and a "great example". The international cooperation of China's space station vividly interprets multilateralism, fully embodies openness and inclusiveness, and is always committed to sustainable development. It is a vivid portrayal of promoting the construction of a community with a shared future in outer space. In recent years, China's aerospace has entered the "fast lane" of innovation and development. The brilliant achievements of China's aerospace are exciting and attracting worldwide attention. China advocates peaceful and mutually beneficial international exchanges and development on the basis of equality and mutual benefit. According to the white paper "China's space in 2021", since 2016, China has signed 46 space cooperation agreements or memorandums of understanding with 19 countries and regions and 4 international organizations. International cooperation in space science, space technology, space applications, academic exchanges and personnel training has yielded fruitful results. Opening up the space station, sharing the Beidou system with the world, "China Tianyan" invites the world to "see" the future, and the precious raw exploration data obtained by the lunar exploration project are open to the world... These measures run through China's consistent position on the peaceful use of outer space and reflect China's sincerity in working with the world to develop and utilize outer space. As a contributor to global development, China actively promotes scientific and technological achievements in outer space to enhance the people's livelihood and well-being of all countries. It has always been China's unremitting pursuit to make the achievements of scientific and technological innovation in outer space accessible, shared and used by more countries and people, and promote the aerospace industry to benefit all mankind. The "one belt, one road" space information corridor, China ASEAN satellite information (maritime) service platform and remote sensing satellite data sharing service platform, and Lancang River Mekong River space information exchange center have been steadily advancing, which will give strong impetus to the development of the countries and regions concerned. At present, the number of users of China's Beidou has reached more than 100 million. China's Beidou can be found in transportation, port management, land planning, river transportation supervision, fine agriculture and smart tourism in many countries; Through the Fengyun meteorological satellite international user disaster prevention and mitigation emergency support mechanism, China's meteorological satellite data are widely used in more than 120 countries and regions; China has actively participated in the International Charter on space and major disasters, provided satellite remote sensing data for disaster reduction in nearly 40 countries, and effectively improved the international community's capacity for disaster prevention and reduction. China has also issued the statement on China's aerospace contribution to the 2030 sustainable development goals of the United Nations, which will promote relevant scientific and technological achievements to promote human well-being in a wider range, at a deeper level and at a higher level. As a builder of world peace, China has always advocated the peaceful use of outer space and opposed the weaponization and arms race in outer space. At present, outer space has become the commanding height of strategic competition among major powers. The world's aerospace has entered a new stage of great development and transformation, which will have a significant and far-reaching impact on the development of human society. In particular, the US government has openly defined outer space as a "combat territory", vigorously developed and deployed offensive outer space weapons, attempted to build a "space military alliance", and has long been passive in resisting the negotiation of legal instruments on outer space arms control, bringing more complex uncertainties to international strategic stability. China has always adhered to the exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes. All China's outer space activities comply with international law and commitments and are not targeted at any specific country. Since 2017, the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind has been written into the resolution of the disarmament and international security committee of the United Nations General Assembly on "no first deployment of weapons in outer space", which reflects the common expectations of most countries and is in the common interests of the international community.
