Recently, the fishing ground of Nanhe fishery farmers' Professional Cooperative in Siping Town, Baokang County, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province opened its net in spring. Fishermen were busy fishing, sorting, collecting, loading, external sales and supplying the market. In 2007, 112 villagers in Dafan village, Siping Town, Baokang County took advantage of the 15000 Mu high-quality water surface in the reservoir area formed by Siping power station to organize the establishment of professional cooperatives to breed more than 10 kinds of green ecological fish, such as large herring, silver carp, white cockmouth and mandarin fish, which sell well in Chongqing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Nanjing, Beijing and other cities. Over the past 15 years since its establishment, the cooperative has driven the average household income of its members to increase by more than 20000 yuan every year.
