On the 17th, the Paris Olympics saw a 100 day countdown, and the Chinese sports delegation has qualified for 165 events at the Paris Olympics. Affected by the delay of the Tokyo Olympics, the preparation work for the Paris Olympics started late and in a short period of time. However, the General Administration of Sport of China has firmly grasped the initiative of the preparation work through strong training and problem oriented in-depth preparation inventory and supervision. After the Hangzhou Asian Games, the General Administration of Sport of China shifted its focus on competitive sports work to prepare for the Paris Olympics. The national teams of each project closely focused on the goals and tasks of the Paris Olympics, and closely integrated the key work of party building, national team ideological and moral education, and work style construction with the preparation for the Paris Olympics, systematically planned, and promoted, achieving good results. The Chinese team duo Liu Yuchen and Ou Xuanyi, from the quarterfinals of the Asian Badminton Championships, secured their second spot in the men's doubles at the Paris Olympics by taking advantage of their previous Olympic points lead. At this point, the Chinese team has become the only team to obtain full seats in the badminton event at the Paris Olympics. Not only badminton, the six traditional advantage events of the Chinese team, including weightlifting, shooting, gymnastics, diving, table tennis, and badminton, are almost all fully participated in. In terms of collective events, Chinese women's basketball team, Chinese women's song team, Chinese women's water polo team, and others have all obtained qualifications to participate. The Chinese track and field team is still striving for more qualifications to participate in the two basic sports of athletics and swimming, and the Chinese swimming team is also expected to achieve full event participation. It is reported that currently, the preparation for the Paris Olympics has entered the final sprint stage, and various event teams will accelerate their efforts to make up for their weaknesses and strengths, strive to improve their competitive sports level, and fully prepare for the "big test" of the Paris Olympics. According to the schedule, by the end of June, all Olympic points and qualifying rounds for various events will be completed, and Chinese athletes will also strive to obtain more qualifications for small events such as cycling, judo, tennis, and rugby. In May and June, four popular sports among young people, namely rock climbing, skateboarding, breakdancing, and freestyle cycling, will compete in two Olympic qualification series races in Shanghai and Budapest. The Chinese archery team will also strive for more seats at the Paris Olympics in the upcoming World Cup. In collective ball events, the Chinese women's volleyball team will participate in the World Women's Volleyball League starting in May, and the results of the World Women's Volleyball League will directly affect whether the Chinese team can obtain Olympic admission tickets. The Chinese sports delegation faced many difficulties and challenges at the Paris Olympics. From the perspective of project settings, the total number of gold medals at the Paris Olympics has decreased by 10 compared to the previous Olympics, and China's weightlifting, sailing and other events have reduced their competition points due to the establishment of projects; Some gold medal winning events have experienced a decline in their competitive level due to factors such as the transition between old and new events. From the perspective of external competition, countries such as the UK, Japan, France, Australia, and Germany have all demonstrated impressive strength. Some emerging countries/regions have rapidly risen, while others have rapidly improved their level of professionalization. The level of strength among players from various countries/regions has also narrowed. The relevant person in charge of the General Administration of Sport of China stated that they will seize the last 100 days, fully prepare for the Paris Olympics, further improve the leadership system of the preparation organization for the Paris Olympics, strengthen the ideological and political education of the national team, and orderly organize the second round of preparation supervision and preparation for the Paris Olympics
