Li Qiang's Research in Anhui: Focusing on Improving Innovation Driven Development Capability
Li Qiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Premier of the State Council, conducted research in Anhui on May 10th. Li Qiang first came to the Institute of Quantum Information and Quantum Technology Innovation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to listen to the report on the construction and development of the Institute, understand the scientific research progress in key fields in detail, and communicate with scientific researchers. At the Advanced Technology Research Institute of the University of Science and Technology of China, Li Qiang listened to reports on scientific and technological innovation and achievement transformation, visited scientific research equipment and technology product displays, and had discussions with leaders of incubation enterprises, affirming the effectiveness of enterprise cultivation and talent attraction. Li Qiang emphasized that in today's world, technological innovation is advancing rapidly. It is necessary to accurately grasp the forefront trends and development trends of technology, further strengthen forward-looking layout, seize opportunities, and seize more development initiative. To fully leverage the leading and driving role of national strategic scientific and technological forces, improve operational management mechanisms, continuously increase investment in basic research, and provide basic support and source supply for innovative development. Li Qiang pointed out that the vitality of technology lies in its application and in benefiting humanity.
